วันที่ 20 มกราคม 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน และคณะลงพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เยือนสถาบันพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์สำหรับอุตสาหกรรมบริการสุขภาพ (wellness) เยี่ยมชมการฝึกอบรมในหลักสูตรนวด และความพร้อมของสถาบันเฉพาะทางด้านบริการสุขภาพของกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานในการพัฒนาทักษะแรงงานด้านการนวดและสปา เตรียมป้อนแรงงานกลุ่มนี้ให้ธุรกิจภาคการท่องเที่ยว บริการ และส่งออกแรงงานต่างประเทศ
นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า วันนี้ได้ลงพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อเยี่ยมชมการฝึกอบรมของ สถาบันพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์สำหรับอุตสาหกรรมบริการสุขภาพ ( wellness) ซึ่งเป็น Excellent Taining Center ด้านบริการสุขภาพแบบครบวงจร มีการจัดฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรนวดหินร้อน การนวดตอกเส้น การบริการเพื่อความงาม โดยการนวดดังกล่าวจะช่วยทั้งในเรื่องการผ่อนคลายและการรักษาอาการปวดเมื่อยกล้ามเนื้อ กระตุ้นการไหลเวียนของเลือดสามารถช่วยให้มีสุขภาพดีขึ้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีการฝึกนวดหินร้อนที่ช่วยผ่อนคลาย ลดความตึงเครียด ทำให้นอนหลับง่ายขึ้น ซึ่งการนวดไทยและสปาด้วยสมุนไพรไทย เป็นเอกลักษณ์ไทยที่ได้รับความนิยมจากชาวต่างชาติเป็นอย่างมาก เมื่อฝึกจบไปสามารถนำวิชาความรู้ไปประกอบอาชีพได้แน่นอน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับ นโยบายของรัฐบาลในการส่งเสริมภาคการท่องเที่ยวและตรงกับความต้องการที่ทางกระทรวงแรงงานในการขยายตลาด เพื่อให้พนักงานนวดและสปาไทยมีโอกาสได้ทำงานต่างประเทศมากยิ่งขึ้น และได้รับค่าตอบแทนตามมาตราฝีมือที่สูง อีกด้วย
ด้านนางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน กล่าวว่า กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานมีการพัฒนาทักษะด้านการนวดมาเป็นเวลานาน มีทั้งวิทยากรที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญ และหลักสูตรที่หลากหลายไว้รองรับ ประกอบกับจังหวัดเชียงใหม่เป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยว มีนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติเป็นจำนวนมาก ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะชอบการนวดแผนไทย กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานจึงจัดตั้งสถาบันพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์สำหรับอุตสาหกรรมบริการสุขภาพ (wellness) เป็นหน่วยงานเฉพาะทางด้านการนวดไทยขึ้น ปัจจุบันมีการผลิตแรงงานที่มีทักษะด้านการนวดไปแล้วจำนวนมาก ผู้ผ่านการฝึก มีทั้งนำความรู้ไปประกอบอาชีพในประเทศไทย และบางส่วนไปทำงานต่างประเทศ โดยในปี 2567 มีเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรและสถานประกอบกิจการในอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวกว่า 3,000 คน นอกจากสถาบันพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์สำหรับอุตสาหกรรมบริการสุขภาพ (wellness) ที่เป็นสถาบันเฉพาะทางแล้ว กรมฯ ยังมีสถาบันและสำนักงานพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานทั่วประเทศที่มีความพร้อมในการฝึกอบรมและทดสอบมาตรฐานฝีมือแรงงานเช่นกัน ดังนั้น กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน จึงเป็นหน่วยงานที่มีความพร้อมในการผลิตแรงงานเพื่อป้อนแรงงานให้ธุรกิจภาคการท่องเที่ยวและบริการในทุก ๆ ด้าน ผู้ที่สำเร็จการฝึกอบรมสามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้ไปประกอบอาชีพ สร้างรายได้ให้แก่ตนเองและครอบครัวได้อย่างแน่นอน

They observed training courses in massage, and the readiness of specialized health service institutions by the Department of Skill Development to develop workers’ skills in massage and spa, preparing workers for businesses in the tourism, services, and overseas labour export sectors.
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, reported that today, he traveled to Chiang Mai Province to visit the Institute for Human Resource Development for the Wellness Industry, which is an excellent training center for integrated health services. There is a hot stone massage training course, tapping line massage, and beauty services. The massage provides both relaxation and the treatment of muscle aches and pains. Stimulating blood flow helps improve health. There is also a practice of hot stone massage that helps relaxation, reduces tension, and makes sleeping easier. Thai massage and spa with Thai herbs is a Thai identity that is very popular with foreigners. Once complete, training successors will be able to apply their knowledge to their careers, corresponding to the government’s policy to promote the tourism sector. It also meets the needs of the Ministry of Labour in expanding the market to give Thai massage and spa employees more opportunities to work abroad and receive compensation according to high skill standards as well.
The Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, said that the Department of Skill Development has developed massage skills for a long time, where there are experts and a variety of courses to support them. In addition, Chiang Mai Province is a tourist city with a lot of foreign tourists. Most tourists enjoy Thai massages. Therefore, the Department of Skill Development has established the Institute for Human Resource Development for the Wellness Industry as a specialized agency in Thai massage. A large number of workers with massage skills have been produced and trained, bringing knowledge to pursue careers in Thailand and some to work abroad. By 2024, the goal is to develop over 3,000 personnel and business establishments in the tourism industry. In addition to the Institute for Human Resource Development for the Wellness Industry, which is a specialized institute, the Department has Skill Development Institutes and Offices nationwide that are ready to train and assess workers’ skill standards as well. Therefore, the Department of Skill Development is an agency that is ready to produce workers to supply businesses in every aspect of the tourism and service sectors. Those who complete the training can apply the knowledge gained to their careers, creating income for themselves and their families.
