กระทรวงแรงงาน ส่ง 9 เยาวชนร่วมแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานเอเชีย กรุงอาบูดาบี รมว.พิพัฒน์ สร้างขวัญและให้กำลังใจ ตั้งเป้าคว้าเหรียญฝากพี่น้องชาวไทยทั้งประเทศ

     วันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ให้โอวาทเยาวชนทีมชาติไทยที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานแรงงานเอเชีย ครั้งที่ 2 ระหว่างวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน – 1 ธันวาคม 2566 ที่กรุงอาบูดาบี สหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรสต์ ณ ห้องจัตุมงคล ชั้น 6 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมแถลงข่าวต่อสื่อมวลชนเกี่ยวกับการแข่งขันดังกล่าว โดยมี นายสิรภพ ดวงสอดศรี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน เข้าร่วม ณ บริเวณโถง ชั้น 5 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน โดยกล่าวว่าตนเองรู้สึกภาคภูมิใจเป็นอย่างมากที่เยาวชนไทยได้เข้าร่วมกันการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานเอเชียในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสดีที่เยาวชนจะได้แสดงทักษะฝีมือให้เป็นที่ประจักษ์แก่สายตาชาวโลก เหรียญรางวัลที่ได้รับจะสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าประเทศไทยมีแรงงานที่มีทักษะฝีมือเป็นจำนวนมาก และสามารถดึงดูดให้นักลงทุนต่างชาติให้เข้ามาลงทุนในประเทศไทยมากขึ้น จึงขอให้เยาวชนใช้ทักษะฝีมือที่ได้จากการเรียนรู้และเก็บตัวมาใช้ในเวทีนี้เพื่อเป็นการพิสูจน์ตนเอง ประเทศไทยได้เข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิก WorldSkills Asia เมื่อปี 2565 การเข้าร่วมแข่งขันเพื่อพัฒนาความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ สร้างโอกาสในการพัฒนาทักษะฝีมืออย่างสร้างสรรค์ และสนับสนุนยกระดับการแข่งขันทักษะฝีมือในภูมิภาคเอเชียให้เป็นกิจกรรมที่สำคัญของโลก

      นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวต่อไปว่า การแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานเอเชียในครั้งนี้ ประเทศเจ้าภาพจัดให้มีการแข่งขันใน 20 สาขา มีเยาวชนและผู้เข้าร่วมงานแข่งขันกว่า 500 คน จากกว่า 30 ประเทศ ซึ่งกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้คัดเลือกเยาวชนจากผู้ชนะการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 29 และการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 13 เข้าร่วมแข่งขัน จำนวน 9 คน ใน 8 สาขา ได้แก่ 1. สาขาเขียนแบบวิศวกรรมเครื่องกลด้วยคอมพิวเตอร์ 2. สาขาเทคโนโลยีงานเชื่อม 3. สาขาเทคโนโลยีเว็บ 4. สาขาเทคโนโลยีระบบทำความเย็น 5. สาขาการแต่งผม 6. สาขาแฟชั่นเทคโนโลยี 7. สาขากราฟิกดีไซน์ 8. สาขาหุ่นยนต์เคลื่อนที่ (ประเภททีม) ซึ่งทั้ง 8 สาขา เป็นสาขาที่กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานพิจารณาแล้วว่าเป็นสาขาที่เยาวชนมีทักษะฝีมือโดดเด่นตอบสนองต่อยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาประเทศของรัฐบาล ที่มุ่งเน้นให้เยาวชนและกำลังแรงงานมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เป็นแรงงานที่มีคุณภาพมีทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล สามารถตอบสนองความเปลี่ยนแปลงของตลาดแรงงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยเยาวชนที่ชนะการแข่งขันได้รับเงินรางวัล ดังนี้ เหรียญทอง 261,000 บ. เหรียญเงิน 161,500 บ. เหรียญทองแดง 82,000 บ. เหรียญฝีมือยอดเยี่ยม 35,000 บ. (รางวัลชมเชย/เหรียญฝีมือผ่านเกณฑ์มารฐาน) และรางวัลปลอบใจ 10,000 บ.

      The Ministry of Labour sent nine youths to participate in the WorldSkills Asia Competition in Abu Dhabi. The Labour Minister Pipat encouraged the participants, aiming to win back medals for Thai workers nationwide.

      On November 24, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, gave a speech to the Thai national youth team participating in the 2nd WorldSkills Asia Competition between November 24 to December 1, 2023, in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The occasion took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour. He also spoke to the media in a press conference about the competition. The Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the occasion at the hall area on the 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. He said that he was proud of the Thai youths participating in this WorldSkills Asia Competition. The competition is a good opportunity for youths to showcase their skills to the world. The medals received reflect that Thailand has many skilled workers, which can attract more foreign investors to invest in Thailand. Therefore, he asked the youths to use the skills that they have learned to showcase them in this arena to prove themselves. Thailand became a member of WorldSkills Asia in 2022, participating in the competition to develop strategic cooperation, create opportunities to develop creative skills and support elevating the skill competition in Asia to become an important event of the world.

      Mr. Phiphat continued that in this WorldSkills Asia Competition, the host country has organized competitions in 20 fields, with over 500 youths from over 30 countries participating. The Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development selected nine youths from the 29th National Skills Competition winners and the 13th ASEAN Skills Competition. The nine competitors will compete in 8 fields: 1. Computer Mechanical Engineering Drafting 2. Welding Technology 3. Web Technology 4. Cooling Technology 5. Hair Styling 6. Fashion Technology 7. Graphic Design 8. Mobile Robot (team type). The Department of Skill Development considers all eight fields to be fields where youths have outstanding skills that respond to the government’s national development strategy that focuses on a creative youth population and workforce, to be quality workers with skills in digital technology, able to respond effectively to changes in the labour market. The youths who win the competition will receive cash prizes. Gold medalists will receive 261,000 Baht, silver medalists will receive 161,500 Baht, bronze medalists will receive 82,000 Baht, and the excellent skills medalists will receive 35,000 Baht (consolation prize/medal for skills that pass the standards), and a consolation prize of 10,000 Baht.

      “Thai youth representatives are considered top competitors in bringing home medals to the Thai people in every field to build a reputation for the country. But above all, the young competitors will receive valuable experience from competing internationally. This will open their eyes to the world and further develop their skills in both study and work in the future.
