วันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นายสิรภพ ดวงสอดศรี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายธนัสถ์ ทวีเกื้อกูลกิจ ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน และนายพิเชษฐ์ ทองพันธ์ รองอธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน ในฐานะเป็นหน่วยงานดำเนินการจัดส่งเยาวชนเข้าแข่งขันฯ ร่วมส่ง 9 ตัวแทนเยาวชนไทยเดินทาง Upskill ในการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานเอเชีย ครั้งที่ 2 ณ ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ มั่นใจเยาวชนไทยจะสามารถกวาดเหรียญรางวัลกลับมายังประเทศไทยได้อย่างแน่นอน

            นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า วันนี้ผมได้นำทีมน้อง ๆ เยาวชนไทย จำนวน 9 คน ไปเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานเอเชีย ครั้งที่ 2 ที่ กรุงอาบูดาบี ประเทศสหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ ซึ่งไทยร่วมแข่งขัน จำนวน 8 สาขา ประกอบด้วย 1. สาขาเขียนแบบวิศวกรรมเครื่องกลด้วยคอมพิวเตอร์ 2. สาขาเทคโนโลยีงานเชื่อม 3. สาขาเทคโนโลยีเว็บ 4. สาขาเทคโนโลยีระบบทำความเย็น 5. สาขาการแต่งผม 6. สาขาแฟชั่นเทคโนโลยี 7. สาขากราฟิกดีไซน์ และ 8. สาขาหุ่นยนต์เคลื่อนที่ (ประเภททีม) ทั้งนี้ ผมเดินทางมาเพื่อที่จะส่งกำลังใจให้แก่เยาวชนไทยของเราถึงขอบสนาม ซึ่งได้เน้นย้ำให้ทุกคนทำหน้าที่ของตัวเองอย่างสุดกำลังความสามารถ ใช้ความรู้ทักษะที่ได้ฝึกซ้อมมาอย่างเต็มที่ เพื่อนำเหรียญรางวัลแห่งเกียรติยศกลับมาฝากเป็นของขวัญให้แก่พี่น้องคนไทยทุกคนที่รอลุ้น และร่วมเป็นกำลังใจช่วยเชียร์ในครั้งนี้ด้วย

            ด้าน นางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน กล่าวเสริมว่า กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน มีหน่วยฝึกอบรมเฉพาะทางที่มีความพร้อมทั้งอุปกรณ์ สถานที่ที่ใช้ในการฝึกซ้อม รวมถึงทีมผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่คอยให้คำแนะนำปรึกษาและใส่ใจอย่างละเอียดทุกขั้นตอนตลอดการเก็บตัวของน้อง ๆ นอกจากนี้ ยังได้รับความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วนที่เข้ามามีบทบาทในการช่วยผลักดันสนับสนุนเยาวชนไทยในการแข่งขันในครั้งนี้ จึงขอเชิญชวนพี่น้องชาวไทย ช่วยส่งแรงใจร่วมเชียร์เด็กไทยทั้ง 9 คน ตลอดการแข่งขัน 3 วันนี้ (27-29 พ.ย. 66) ด้วยนะคะ ท่านสามารถติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวของงานแข่งขันครั้งนี้ได้ทางเฟซบุ๊กแฟนเพจ กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน และ WorldSkills Thailand อธิบดีบุปผา กล่าวท้ายสุด

            On November 25, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mr. Thanat Thaweekueakulkit, the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, and the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, Mr. Pichet Thongphan, as the organization sending youths to compete, joined in sending off nine Thai youth competitors to the 2nd WorldSkills Asia Competition. The occasion took place at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Samut Prakan Province. They are confident that Thai youths can bring back medals to Thailand.

            The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, said today he led a team of nine young Thai competitors to join the 2nd WorldSkills Asia Competition in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The Thai competitors will compete in 8 fields, including 1. Computer Mechanical Engineering Drafting 2. Welding Technology 3. Web Technology 4. Cooling Technology 5. Hair Styling 6. Fashion Technology 7. Graphic Design 8. Mobile Robot (team type). He said he had traveled to encourage the Thai youth from the sidelines. He emphasized that everyone carry out their duties to the best of their ability, making full use of the knowledge and skills they have practiced to bring back medals as a gift of honour to all Thais who were also giving encouragement and cheering them on.

            The Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, added that the Department of Skills Development has a specialized training unit that is fully equipped as a place for training. It also has a team of experts who provide advice, consultation, and careful attention to detail throughout the young competitors’ training. In addition, there is cooperation from all sectors that play a role in helping to drive and support the Thai youths in competing. Therefore, she invited all Thais to send their encouragement to cheer on all nine young Thai competitors throughout the 3-day competition (November 27 to 29, 2023). In closing, the Director-General, Ms. Bubpha, said that the public can follow the progress of this competition on the WorldSkills Thailand and Department of Skill Development Facebook page.
