วันที่ 12 มกราคม 2567 เวลา 11.00 น. นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ให้การต้อนรับ นายจิรุตถ์ อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ สสปน.และคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อเยี่ยมคารวะและหารือการพัฒนาความร่วมมือกับกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานเพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพฝีมือแรงงานช่างไฟฟ้าไมซ์ รวมถึงความร่วมมือเชิงบูรณาการในอนาคต โดยมี นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน ร่วมให้การต้อนรับด้วย ณ ห้องจัตุมงคล ชั้น 6 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวว่า ในวันนี้ผมพร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารกระทรวงแรงงานได้หารือร่วมกับผู้บริหาร สสปน. เกี่ยวกับโครงการยกระดับฝีมือช่างไฟฟ้าสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มอาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดเทศกาลและอีเวนต์ของไทย และต้องการทักษะช่างไฟฟ้าในอาคารที่เป็นกฎหมายควบคุม จึงต้องเร่ง Up skills & Re skills ให้เป็นแรงงานมีทักษะ มีมาตรฐาน สอดคล้องกับนโยบายรัฐบาล เป็นอาชีพสร้างรายได้สูง ขยายโอกาส ด้วยการเพิ่มพูนองค์ความรู้ใหม่ เทคโนโลยีใหม่และความถนัดเฉพาะด้าน ซึ่งตั้งเป้าพัฒนากำลังคนแรงงานช่างไฟฟ้าไมซ์ กว่า 10,000 ราย นอกจากนี้ ยังได้หารือจัดตั้งศูนย์ทดสอบมาตรฐานฝีมือแรงงาน เพื่อออกใบรับรองความรู้ความสามารถให้กับแรงงานมีฝีมือได้ เพื่อสร้างมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยในงานอีเวนต์ด้านไฟฟ้าทั่วประเทศ ซึ่งถือเป็นโอกาสของ นักเรียน นักศึกษาที่สนใจเป็นอย่างมาก พร้อมกันนี้ ทางกระทรวงแรงงาน มีแรงงานที่มีทักษะภาษาอาหรับ อีกประมาณ 3,000 คน พร้อมเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดประชุมสัมนาระดับนานาชาติอีกด้วย
ด้าน นายจิรุตถ์ อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ สสปน. กล่าวว่า ขอขอบคุณท่านรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงานที่เปิดโอกาสให้เข้าพบและหารือในประเด็นการพัฒนายกระดับฝีมือแรงงานไทยสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ อย่างแรงงานช่างไฟฟ้าไมซ์ที่มีความต้องการอย่างมาก และมีอัตราค่าจ้างสูง ซึ่งทาง สสปน. ยินดีให้ความร่วมมือกับกระทรวงแรงงาน กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน ในการตั้งศูนย์พัฒนาสาขา ช่างไฟฟ้า ช่างอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และคอมพิวเตอร์ ทั่วประเทศ และยินดีดำเนินการอย่างต่อเนื่องต่อไป
On January 12, 2024, at 11.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, welcomed the Director of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya, and team on a courtesy call to discuss developing cooperation with the Department of Skill Development to raise the skill potential of MICE electricians, including integrated cooperation in the future. The Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, joined in giving a welcome at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
Mr. Phiphat said that today, he and the Ministry of Labour’s executives discussed the project to upgrade the skills of electricians for the MICE industry with the TCEB. This is a professional group involved in organizing Thai festivals and events, and there is a need for electrician skills in buildings that are controlled by law. Therefore, it is necessary to accelerate upskilling and reskilling to become skilled workers with standards that are consistent with government policy. It is a career that generates high income and expands opportunities by adding new knowledge, new technology, and special expertise. Efforts aim to develop a workforce of over 10,000 MICE electricians. In addition, there is a discussion about establishing a labour standard assessment center that is capable of issuing certificates of knowledge and competence to skilled workers to create safety standards at electrical events nationwide. This is considered an opportunity for interested students. At the same time, the Ministry of Labour has approximately 3,000 workers with Arabic language skills who are ready to take part in organizing international seminars as well.
The Director of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya, thanked the Labour Minister for the opportunity to meet and discuss developing and upgrading the skills of Thai workers for the MICE industry. For example, MICE electricians are in great demand and earn high wages. The TCEB is willing to cooperate with the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development in setting up a development center for electricians and electronics and computer technicians nationwide and is happy to continue to do so.
